Major changes to Ohio's D-SNP landscape take effect January 1, 2027, with many D-SNP plans ending on December 31, 2026. More than 400,000 Ohioans could be affected, and health plans are expected to begin notifying members this fall. Many beneficiaries—including those with partial Medicaid who are not enrolled in the Next Generation MyCare Ohio Program—will need help understanding their 2027 coverage options.
